A very comprehensive handbook emphasizing that marketing is the most important thing in your business!  Get to know marketing, your own business, your customer, and why you need to be flexible to change.  A dynamic and useful point by point guide to dealing with all mediums of advertising, and all aspects of marketing.  This handbook understands shoestring budgets if you live in Ontario--in the Northwest Territories, I'm not sure.  A useful read none-the-less.  Developed for the Ontario Agricultural Training Institute (OATI).

This manual claims to be a marketing guide for progressive farmers.  With a focus on direct marketing, this manual also outlines consumer trends in relation to merchandising, advertising, and promotion.  Topics also covered include your marketing plan, regulations, site location and facilities, and value added processing.  Very useful for immersion in the language of marketing with explanations and feasibility evaluations on different aspects of forming a marketing strategy.
